About Revelation Church

As in Acts 2 they came humbly to seek and when His Spirit was poured out they went. As Jesus said in Matthew 28 to go and make disciples, we want an atmosphere where the assembly gathers to yield to His presence allowing His unlimited Spirit poured out in our Church and in our city bringing Jesus to the people so people can bring people to Jesus. At Revelation Church our goal is to Love, Lift and Lead. Love God and love people, Lift His Name and Lead people to the power and love of the cross. Our heart is to see the body come together for this purpose. (Acts 2:1-4, Matthew 28:19-20, Exodus 20:8, Matthew 22:37-40, John 12:32)The layers of belief's that a church stands on are extremely important to know if you wish to attend that church. Here are all of the facts with scripture to back up where we stand on every point. In Christ we stand.

Our Services

Through preaching, worship, and creativity, we strive to deliver the timeless message of Jesus Christ in a clear and fresh way. Even though our method to church may not be traditional, we believe in and maintain a conservative theological position. As we worship we realize it has little to do with music but rather how we incorporate Christ and The Word of God in our daily life.  During every worship experience, our team of worshipers humble themselves as they exalt the Lord leading the church into the presence of God.

Our Vision Is You

Matthew 28:19 & 20 says,  “19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Simply put, if we make it about us we will never GO. Our vision is for Revelation Church to be an example to the communities in and around our city.  As it says in Acts 1 “you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”  We want to start with our communities and raise them up to reach the outer most parts of the world. We accomplish this by two simple New Testament commandments: Love God and Love People and the other is to Go and make disciples.

Core Values

  • Our foundation is based on the Word of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ alone.
  • We value worship, prayer and the Word. Having balance in all three.
  • We value connecting people to Small Groups and stay connected.
  • We value doing life together. As Jesus sent them out two by two. We simply do life together.

We Believe In

The Entire Family

We are committed to ministering to the entire family. It is easier to train and teach a child than to repair an adult.(Proverbs 22:6) (Matthew 10:42) (Matthew 19:14) (Luke 18:16) (Mark 10:16)

The Bible

The Bible IS the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God to all people. Inspired by God, it was written by men of God under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is true today as it was when it was written, not to be tampered with or changed.(Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Psalms 119:11, 89, 105; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 22:29; John 5:39; 16:13-15; 17:17; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:15-17;Hebrews 1:1-2; 4:12; 1 Peter 1:25; 2 Peter 3:16)

The Trinity

God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity. There is only ONE God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.  Even though there is only one SUN in the sky it’s functions have three purposes.  1. It is a solid mass.  2.  It provides light.  3.  It provides heat.  As we cannot live without the above three we too cannot live without the three different functions of the HOLY TRINITY.(Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 61:1; Matthew 28:19; Mark 1:9-11; Luke 1:35; John 5:21-23; 14:10, 16; Romans 8:9-11; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 1:8-10; James 2:19)

GOD The Father

God is omnipotent, omnipresent, all knowing and great. He is completely worthy of our trust, our praise, our honor and our love.  Above all else, HE IS HOLY. God is not only the creator of all things in the universe but is Abba, Daddy and as a daddy, He loves, protects and provides.  He is compassionate, faithful and constant.  In Him we live, move and exist.(Exodus 3:14; Numbers 23:19; Leviticus 11:44-45; 19:2; Psalm 11:4-6; Malachi 3:6; John 3:16; 4:24; 5:26; 14:1; Acts 17:28; Romans 3:3-4)

The Son

Jesus Christ is completely human but, at the same time, completely God. He is the Son of God and the Son of Man. He is of virgin birth, He lived a sinless life, He performed countless miracles. He took, from us, the sinful nature of satan by His Shed Blood. He was resurrected from the dead and He is seated at the right hand of the Father.  He has restored us back to a right relationship with the Father. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we could have life eternal.  There is no other way to the Father but through the Son. He will return again in power and glory.  Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.(Isaiah 7:14; 53; Matthew 1:18-23; 3:17; 8:29; 14:33; 16:16; 28:5-6; Luke 22:70; 24:46-47; John 1:1, 14; 10:30; 11:25-27; 17:1-5; Acts 1:9; 2:22-24; 7:55-56; Romans 1:3-4; 3:23-26; 8:1-3; 10:4; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 2 Corinthians 5:19-21; Gal 4:4-5; Philippians 2:5-11;Colossians 1:15; 2:9; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; 3:16)

The Holy Spirit

GOD IS ALWAYS PRESENT. He is known as the Comforter, the Counselor, Teacher. He is the promise that Jesus the Christ left us. He is the Breath of God. He is the Action of God. His presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ. (Genesis 1:2; Psalms 51:11; 139:7 ff.; Isaiah 61:1-3; Joel 2:28-32; Mark 1:10; Lk 1:35; 4:1; 11:13; 12:12; John 15:26; 16:7-14; Acts 1:8;2:1-4; 13:2; Romans 8:9-11, 14-16, 26-27; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Ephesians 1:13-14; 2 Peter 1:21; Revelation 22:17)

Eternity

Man was created to exist forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.  Eternity is a long time to be in the wrong place.(John 3:16, 36; Romans 6:23; 1 John 2:25; 5:11-13; Revelation 20:15)

The Place Called 'Church'

The Church is a local community of baptized believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.  The Church is where we assemble and celebrate the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.  The Church is where we cease the world around us and reflect on who He is.(Matthew 16:18-19; 18:15-20; Acts 2:41-47; 5:11-14; 13:1-3; 14:23; 16:5; 20:28; 1 Corinthians 7:17; 9:13-14; 12; Ephesians 1:22-23;2:19-22; 3:10-12; 5:22-32; Colossians 1:18; 3:15; 1 Timothy 4:14; 1 Peter 5:1-4; Revelation 21:2-3)
